Teeth whitening is a great way to treat yourself to a confidence boost and a beautiful smile for any occasion! Whether you have discolored teeth or are just looking to freshen up your smile, teeth whitening can get the job done.
It’s easy to feel embarrassed by stains on your teeth, or teeth that are discolored completely. Unfortunately, it’s not just staining that can affect your appearance—teeth naturally discolor over time. This change in color is often quite subtle, but can become more pronounced with certain habits like smoking or coffee drinking. Whitening is a great way to erase some of this natural discoloration and restore your smile to its natural state.
Whitening is an effective way to remove specific spots and even out the color of your teeth, for an evenly white smile. There’s no need to live with stained teeth when you’ve got a solution waiting for you here at Daybreak Dental!
We are pleased to be able to offer two different whitening processes, so you’ll have an option that works for you regardless of your schedule or preferences. We use Zoom!® Teeth Whitening, and you’ll have the choice to have your teeth whitened in our office or from the convenience of your home! Read more about the science behind teeth whitening.
If you choose to have your teeth whitened in our office, Dr. Mortensen and our caring dental staff will explain the process to you and take care of the whole process for you. Essentially, your dentist will place whitening gel on your teeth and activate that gel with a low-heat light. The whole process will only take about an hour to dramatically brighten your smile!
If you’d rather whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home, you can do so safely and effectively with our professional Zoom® whitening take-home kit. You’ll receive a tray that fits over your teeth, and a whitening gel to put inside that tray.
After wearing this tray for the recommended amount of time, you can have the same results as you would in a dentist’s office! Our dental team will also be standing by to make the process as easy as possible and to answer any questions you may have.
